Europe’s largest customised printing specialist which focuses on direct marketing to what it terms as “micro businesses” will open new offices in the Kings Cross area of London this summer. The site will house an expanded UK country team.
Founded by Robert Keane in 1995 with a unique business model, Vistaprint is now a global company employing over 4,600 people, operating 25 localised websites, and shipping to more than 130 countries. Supported by proprietary technologies, high volume production facilities, and marketing expertise, the business offers a wide range of products and services that sole traders and small businesses can use to start and grow their ventures.
In the UK Vistaprint customers placed millions of orders in the past fiscal year (to June 2013) making the UK its second-largest revenue generating country in the world. Bringing a locally-based Country Team will enable a stronger focus and understanding of UK customers and their needs. Emily Shirley, marketing director at Vistaprint commented “We are very excited to be opening a fantastic new location in the UK, which is our largest EU market. Vistaprint has already achieved great success here, but we believe that having a bricks and mortar presence will truly allow us to take our value proposition to a new level, by better understanding the needs of both existing and potential new customers.”
Joining the existing UK Country team in London from early July will be further teams from a mix of functions including analytics, marketing strategy and HR. The intake will include transfers from other Vistaprint offices and new recruits.
