Customers receiving grocery order deliveries from Waitrose will be able to return unwanted items bought online from John Lewis to their grocery delivery driver. This move endeavours to close the loop, better integrate the two distinct areas of the John Lewis business whilst offering customers greater convenience. Waitrose is planning a major expansion of its online grocery business once its contract with Ocado ends next year.
