Weird Fish has named David Butler as its chief executive, replacing John Stockton who stays on to focus on international development. Butler was most recently CEO at Crew Clothing and joins to drive an expansion of Weird Fish which currently operates from 26 of its own stores as well as selling through 300 stockists.

Commenting on the appointment, Weird Fish chair Sally Bailey said: I’d like to welcome David to the Weird Fish shoal. He has significant experience both in the UK and overseas and a proven track record in developing clothing businesses. I look forward to him leading the brand to further success.”
