Whistl gearing up for peak with new client wins and renewals across the business

Whistl has announced that it is expecting the 2019 peak period to be its busiest in its 15-year history.

Following the push into parcels and investment in new automated parcel sortation machinery last year, the company is now able to handle a far greater number of parcels. This includes those from its growing Whistl Fulfilment business, formed from the acquisitions of Prism DM and Spark E Commerce Group.

In its core Downstream Access business mail division, the company has renewed longstanding contracts with Barclays, Tesco, SAGA, E.ON and with marketeers Cell Signal and OTM. It has also won the retailer Next, store card provider New Day Cards and financial services company Close Brothers.

Whistl Doordrop Media, the UK’s leading DDM provider, continues to grow with wins ranging from food delivery company Just EAT to the charity RNLI.

Whistl Fulfilment continues to expand and within the parcels division of the company and is celebrating renewing relationships with Nature Delivered (Graze), Betterworld Books, TV retailer QVC and online printer Photobox.

Nick Wells, CEO Whistl, said: “Our continued investment in the business enables us to be the leading delivery management company both in the UK and increasingly internationally. Our commitment to operational efficiency delivered with best in class customer service allows us to provide the most cost-effective service in the sector. As we enter our 15th year, we continue to grow by winning business across all areas of the company as well as renew longstanding relationships which is testament to the quality of service Whistl provides.”
