Blue Diamond has bought a further six Wyevale garden centres, adding to the nine it acquired last year. The newly acquired locations are Blooms Worcester, Canterbury Chartham, Hereford, Lower Morden, Rake and Tunbridge Wells and all will continue to trade as garden centres under Blue Diamond branding. All staff are transferring with no redundancies expected when the sale is finalised in September. This brings the Blue Diamond chain up to a total of 36 garden centres.
“Blue Diamond’s decision to take on six more sites is testament to both the strength of our garden centres and the level of trust and confidence that has developed between the Wyevale and Blue Diamond teams through the sales process,” said Anthony Jones, chief operating officer of Wyevale.
