Yoox Net-a-Porter has reported growth of 19.1 per cent, on a constant currency basis, in its first quarter sales to reach £435 million. Of this, UK net revenue grew by 14.3 per cent to £56 million for the quarter and by 2.9 per cent on a reported basis due to the drop in the value of £ sterling. The luxury online fashion saw strong growth from the USA and Asia Pacific regions and attracted 200 million visits to its sites which converted to 3 million active customers spending, on average, £290. The business is poised to launch an online store for Valentino later this year via its Next Era business model which supports luxury brands entering the online space.
