Zalando has posted a 20.1 per cent rise in its second-quarter revenues to £1.45 billion from a 34.3 per cent increase in site visits which resulted in 36.1 million orders. The online retailer and marketplace now boasts 28.3 million active customers in 17 European countries and is in partnership with 1300 bricks and mortar retailers.
“More customers than ever before have chosen Zalando as their starting point for fashion,” said Daniel Schroder, CFO, Zalando. “This proves that our continuous efforts to deliver a best in class fashion experience pay(s) off.”
