International sales rise at Mothercare


Nursery specialist Mothercare has revealed that in its first
quarter to 13th July 2013, UK like-for-like sales were down 0.9 percent with
total sales in the UK falling by 7.9 percent. Mothercare’s total group sales,
which include its wholesale arm, were down 3.4 percent, while the firms’ online
sales rose 14.6 percent. In the 15-week period, international sales rose 14.1
percent.
