Around 355 jobs are set to be axed at toy chain Modelzone
after administrators revealed a proposal to implement a store closure
programme. Deloitte has so far not received any offers for the business and
therefore a consultation process with Modelzone employees has begun. No final
decisions on individual store closures have been taken but 11 redundancies were
made at the firms head office.
