Casualwear cataloguer Lands’ End has announced plans to
recruit a European product director to oversee a team of 33 within the
merchandise and planning function. He or she will report into UK managing
director Sara Prowse and head up a team of 22 merchandisers, a head of planning
and nine planners. The move mirrors the successful model already in place at
the company’s Japanese operation.
