Kath Smith has joined flash sales specialist SportPursuit.com in the newly created role of chief sales officer. The three year old business, headed by CEO Adam Pikett, has backing from DFJ Esprit and well as William Reeve, Alex Chesterman and Alex Saint and claims over a million members who buy sportswear from its flash promotions at discounts of between 40 and 70 per cent. Smith was previously with Adidas Group for which she was most recently managing director of Reebok. Brands offered by the online business which has its sights on European expansion include Canterbury, Garmin, Berghaus and Helly Hansen.
