Our special guest chairman
for the evening, Alan White, will
lead the conversation about the challenges facing all retail businesses as they
seek to maximise their sales and profitability across all channels. Alan, as
you know, is currently chairman of Hotter Footwear, an independent director at
Topps Tiles, and non-executive director at Direct Wines, having enjoyed huge
success as CEO of N Brown Group.
This will be a
lively and informative event for directors and senior marketers from businesses
across the retail, multichannel and ecommerce spectrum. It is organised by
Direct Commerce Magazine, with the kind support of The Specialist Works, and is
the fifth Bricks meet Clicks event we have staged this year to bring together a

Alan White’s specialities lie in strategy and finance, most notably demonstrated by
his 25-year career with N Brown Group, transforming the catalogue giant into an
online titan. A man wearing many hats, Alan White is currently Chairman of Hotter Footwear, Investor/Advisor
to Fruugo, Director of Facetspera, Non-Executive Director of Direct Wines, and
Senior Independent Director of Topps Tiles Inc.
