Evans Cycles which achieved sales of £127.7 million in its most recent full year has been acquired from private equity firm Active to ECI which now has a significant majority stake. The multichannel business will continue to be headed by CEO Nick Wilkinson and could well see an expansion of its 56 strong retail store chain.
