AO.com has promoted Mark Higgins to the role of chief financial officer as Steve Caunce, who had held the role as well as that of chief operating officer, will now focus on his duties as the online retailer’s chief operating officer. Higgins has been with AO since July 2011 and steps into his new role effective 1st August. The move aims to reassure the City that the business’ corporate governance and financial reporting meet all requirements.
