Moonpig data security in question

The national press has homed in on suggestions that Moonpig’s customer records have been accessible to hackers for over a year due to a security flaw within its web operations. A blogger, Paul Price, has claimed that he first noticed the flaw and reported it to Moonpig in August 2013 but that nothing had been done by the business which has some 3.6 million customers, to remedy the problem which stemmed from its API. Messages passed from Moonpig’s Android app and its servers could, be intercepted, changed, and used to access customer account information, card details and saved addresses making all customers vulnerable to fraud, Price claimed.
