The Hut Group has acquired Hale Country Club & Spa in Cheshire. Operating across 50,000 sq.ft., Hale Country Club provides over 5000 members with fitness, leisure, spa and beauty facilities. The Hut Group plans to expand Hale Country Club’s health and beauty facilities for the benefit of members and for its brands Myprotein and Lookfantastic.
The gym facility will be re-branded to Myprotein ad become the focal point for the brand’s 200 ambassadors who are elite athletes drawn from 30 sports and 30 countries. These include, for example, Danny Willett, Masters Golf Champion 2016, Max Whitlock, Olympic medal winning gymnast, and Michael Bisping, UFC Middleweight Champion.
Members of the club will also be able to access a broader prestige brand offering in the spa, wellness pool, thermal suite and treatment facilities, with Hale Country Club becoming a focal point for 90+ Lookfantastic ambassadors. The Hut Group achieved sales of £334 million for 2015.
