Sailing brand Musto has been acquired by Helly Hansen. The move will extend Helly Hansen’s reach as well as enable Musto to expand internationally. Musto CEO Peter Smith retains his role and report direct to Helly Hansen CEO Paul Stoneham.
Musto is an iconic British brand which was founded in 1964 by the Olympic sailing medal winner Keith Musto. The business is an official supplier to the British National Sailing Team as well as the British Equestrian Federation and holds two Royal Warrants.
