Iceland tests stores within The Range

Iceland and The Range are to trial locating Iceland stores within three of The Range’s stores. The move will give The Range’s customers more reasons to visit  its stores and for Iceland it hopes to reach a new audience. If successful there are plans to roll out the initiative. Meanwhile B&M has also introduced frozen and chilled foods into its stores.

Iceland generated sales of £3 billion for the year to March 31st, up by 2.3 per cent on a like-for-like basis having opened 27 new stores including 23 in its Food Warehouse format, and closed six.
