Boux Avenue has posted an operating loss of £9.9m for the year-end March 31 2018. Like for like sales fell 3 per cent, compared to a 7 per cent increase in 2017. Overall turnover fell from £49.4m in 2017 to £47.4m, while gross turnover fell to £25.5 m from the £27.4m reported in 2017.
The retailer attributed the losses to tough trading conditions – leading to major discounting, supply chain issues and its investment in a new distribution centre.
