Boden has appointed Glen Senk as its new executive chairman, a move that enables Julian Granville to become deputy chairman. Senk was CEO of URBN which owns Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters until 2012 and has been a non-executive director of Boden for four years.
Johnnie Boden commented: “I have known and admired Glen for many years. He must be one of the best fashion retailers in the world. He combines an amazing creative understanding with a razor-sharp analytical mind. I truly believe Boden can double in size. We have huge opportunities in all our markets but especially in the US.”
International sales account for some 65 per cent of Boden’s revenues and the business is planning major investment to grow its business further.
