Cox and Cox has appointed Jan Duckworth as managing director. Jan joins from Sofology where she held the position of brand director. Aamir Kurshid, COO of Giomani Designs, which acquired Cox and Cox in 2023, said: “With her strong marketing, retail, and product background, Jan is the perfect choice to head up Cox and Cox as we continue to grow this incredible brand and range offering.”
Meanwhile, Sarah Welsh has taken up the role of chief brand, product & commercial director at Matalan. Welsh was previously CEO Retail at N Brown.
Seasalt bids farewell to its CIO Mel Wilcox who is said to be leaving to seek new challenges. Mel was recruited from Specsavers where she had been techonology director and was previously with Tesco where she held a senior role in its online grocery business.
Joe Pennington has joined ProCook as Retail Director. His most recent role was with Charles Tyrwhitt, where he spent 8 years.
