Accell UK & Ireland, the owner of the Raleigh brand in the UK, is exploring options for the business after filing an intention to appoint administrators yesterday (5 August 2026).
Accell Group, located in the Netherlands and one of Europe’s largest cycling businesses, acquired the Raleigh brand in 2012 and has already entered insolvency proceedings after failing to find a long-term solution for the business.
