Stylo, the parent company of footwear cataloguer/retailer Barratts, has acquired rival Dolcis out of administration, Drapers reports. The purchase includes the Dolcis brand, its stock and 10 of its stores.

Here’s a bit of fiscal cheer: In a release, Arcandor AG had “a very good start” to its fiscal second quarter, with January sales at its Primondo speciality catalogue division up 16 per cent from last year. Primondo’s titles include fashion catalogues Peter Hahn and Elegance.
