Apparel cataloguer Boden reported record profits
of £32.5 million in the year to 31st December 2010, writes
the Financial Times. Total turnover rose 15
per cent to £232.2 million and the company anticipates that
overseas sales will overtake the UK in this financial year.

Online retailer Kiddicare has created 25 jobs at
its new Peterborough showroom. Local paper, the Evening Telegraph, also reports that
Kiddicare has opened up its website to consumers in Sweden and is
launching in Ireland next week.

Mark Batty has joined fashion etailer ASOS.com
as international sales manager. He was previously eCommerce
manager at apparel catalogue Boden.

Skincare and cosmetics company The Body Shop is
gearing up to launch a mobile-optimised website. It has tasked
technology provider Usablenet with the project.
