Broderick to depart Watches of Switzerland

Tony Broderick has resigned from his chief operating officer role at Watches of Swizterland and formally leaves the business in April. Broderick joined Goldsmiths in 1979 rising the to the position of chief operating officer in 2009 and has held a seat on the board since 2000.

“During his time with the company, Tony has seen many ownership changes, management changes and market changes and his success is a tribute to his commitment, his personal adaptability and most significantly, the immediate respect and support that he commands. Tony will leave us at the end of April and until then will remain fully engaged and supportive of our business in the UK and the US,” said Brian Duffy, chief executive.

Craig Bolton will join the business as UK executive director in a role that holds responsibility for all of the group’s brands and operation functions. “Craig brings to this newly created role 14 years of experience and significant success in our group and under his leadership, Goldsmiths and Mappin & Webb have gone from strength to strength,” said Duffy. Both Bolton and his US counterpart David Hurley will report to Duffy.
