Sexual wellness brand Lovehoney has received The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for outstanding continuous growth in overseas sales during the past six years. Since 2015, the business has grown its overseas sales from £12million to £56million, an overall rise of 365 per cent. The award enables Lovehoney, which has 300 employees,to use the Queen’s Award emblem in advertising, marketing and on packaging for a period of five years as a symbol of quality and success.
Lovehoney is the UK’s biggest online adult retailer and has eight international websites for countries including the USA, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and New Zealand and a global customer base of 2.2million people.
This is the second Queen’s Award from Her Majesty. It received the Queen’s Award for International Trade five year ago.
