AMARA appoints its first CTO

Matthew Butlin

AMARA has appointed Matthew Butlin as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) which is a brand-new role for the business.

With two decades of successful experience in managing technology, Butlin has specialised in building technological knowledge for high growth, high revenue companies. He is a strong believer in the use of technology to provide excellent customer service. At AMARA he will be responsible for IT strategy, aligning the requirements of the business with its web development and product teams to drive agile IT strategy forward.

Speaking about his role at AMARA, Matthew Butlin, Chief Technology Officer, said: “AMARA is already a progressive retailer in the digital arena, and I am looking forward to building on this by supporting all technological areas to take the brand to the next stage of growth. I’m very pleased to be joining such a dynamic and creative team.”
