AO has bolstered its 300-strong inhouse tech team, with the appointment of Jasmin Allott as its new director of technology – enterprise platforms and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
The online electricals retailer created the role to ‘cement’ the rapid shift to online shopping it has experienced over the last year. Allott will oversee enterprise applications across AO’s estate to support the company’s plans to invest, transform, and align its systems — delivering digital transformation and implementing a global ERP.
Allott said: “I couldn’t resist the opportunity to join a business at such a pivotal time in its journey. I’ve been impressed with AO’s journey to date, I am excited to help as we move forward into this next chapter.”
