Avon axes jobs


Avon
has begun a strategic review that will see it axe around 1,500 jobs worldwide.
Outlining its plans on 11 December, Avon also confirmed it is exiting South
Korea and Vietnam in order to concentrate resources on “high priority markets”.
All told, its cost-cutting plans are aimed at saving the company $400 million
by the end of 2015
