San Francisco-based fashion retailer Gap is
finally going to launch eCommerce sites for Canada and the UK;
they are scheduled to go live next year. In the UK, Gap
merchandise is available from etailer ASOS.

Havant, Hampshire-based activewear cataloguer/retailer
Fat Face is looking to test overseas. The US
will probably be its first port of call, though it is also
considering Australia, New Zealand, and even South Africa.

Groundwell, Wiltshire-based Glasses Direct is
also considering expanding to the US, as well as into other
countries in Europe.

Supermarket chain Tesco is looking into
launching its online offering in Thailand. The Cheshunt,
Hertfordshire-based company has operated brick-and-mortar stores
in Thailand for 15 years.

Liverpool-based Shop Direct, whose brands
include Littlewoods and Great
Universal, will integrate its data on an enterprise data
warehouse platform from Dayton, OH-based Teradata Corp.
