JD Sports Fashion Plc has announced that Heather Jackson has stepped down from her position as a non-executive director, effective 29th November ’21. The business simultaneously confirmed the appointment of Mahbobeh Sabetnia as a non-executive director.
Peter Cowgill, executive chairman said: “I would like to thank Heather for her valuable contribution to the Board throughout the last six years. During that period, the company has developed considerably to become one of the UK’s prominent global retailers.”
Sabetnia brings significant digital transformation experience to the board having held executive roles within Amazon.com Inc., McDonald’s Corporation, HSBC and, most recently Mars Inc.
