Jessops loses CEO

Chris Langley, chief executive of troubled photographic
retailer Jessops, has resigned to “pursue other business
interests”. A statement to the City said he will remain
with the group until the end of November “to assist with
planning for the Christmas trading period and other handover
projects”. Furthermore Jessops’ group financial director,
Ian Harris has also left the company after only 10 months in the
job. Jessops parted company with its commercial director, Robin
Whitbread, earlier in the year.
