Supermarket chain Asda has awarded the
printing of its debut catalogue to German printer Tiefdruck
Schwann-Bagel, reports PrintWeek. The catalogue, which is expected
to launch on 1st September, will offer approximately 10,000 nonfood
items.

Michael Marriott, the technical manager of David
Austin Roses, was asked by The Telegraph for gardening tips and his 1-
favourite roses. Other horticulture cataloguers cited in the
article include Harkness Roses, Peter Beales
and Pococks Roses.

Ethical-fashion and housewares mailer
Adili.com will be launching a proprietary
womenswear line next year, according to The Guardian, which spoke with the
company’s creative director for an article on eco and ethical
fashion. The founder of another fair-trade, eco-friendly direct
marketer, People Tree, was interviewed as
well.
