Toys catalogue Letterbox is now part of the
Hawkin’s Bazaar stable. Hawkin’s is a cataloguer/retailer
of toys and novelties. Letterbox’s previous owner, Findel,
had announced earlier this month that it would be closing both
Letterbox and furniture title Cotswold Company. A note on
the Letterbox website reads, “We are pleased to announce
that Letterbox is now under the same management as Hawkin’s
Bazaar… We’re even working with one of its original founders to
inspire a Letterbox collection that will appeal to all of our
previous customers (along with new converts!). We appreciate that
some of you may have had a less-than-perfect experience with
Letterbox last Christmas but we are in a position to assure you,
that will all be in the past and we’re working hard to make this
Christmas the best ever.” The company plans to relaunch the
website and produce a new print catalogue in time for the
autumn/Christmas season.

Everything but the Music (EBTM) has been bought out of
administration by TKC Direct, the owner of skate and
urban apparel cataloguer/retailer Route One. A direct
marketer of music-inspired fashion, EBTM fell into
administration on 29th February.

Footwear cataloguer Duo is looking to compensate for a
decline in domestic sales by proceeding with a soft launch into
the US, according to The Telegraph. The company already has
country-specific websites for France, Germany, the Netherlands,
and Scandinavia as well as its UK business.
