Multititle mailer Scotts & Co has bought silk-flower
cataloguer Bloom and Green out of administration. Scotts &
Co, whose other titles include The Original Gift Company
and Cucina Direct, will relaunch the business under its
original name, Bloom. Founders Laurent and Tiffany Giudicelli
will continue to manage the front-end operations.

Home entertainment merchant Play.com has launched a
branded credit card in conjunction with card issuer MBNA.
Cardholders collect one PlayPoint loyalty programme point for
every pound they spend with a company other than Play.com and two
points for every pound they spend with Play.com.

Virgin Vie at Home is losing its virginity: The direct
marketer of cosmetics, homeware, and jewellery is rebranding
itself as Vie at Home, effective next week. Founding directors
Ros Simmons and Ratan Daryani led a management buyout to acquire the business
from Virgin Group earlier this year.

N Brown CEO Alan White tells The Daily Mail that, having established
itself in the plus-size women’s market, the multititle
cataloguer may now branch out into the petite sector.
