Following its success in Germany, where it launched two years
ago, fashion cataloguer Boden will begin
trialling its offer in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the
Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland within the next few years,
according to the Financial Times.

Next has drawn up legal papers accusing
Tesco of illegally copying several of its
apparel designs, The Telegraph reports.

“Argos has waded into the turmoil in
the sportswear sector by complaining to the Competition
Commission that it is excluded from selling some sports equipment
and clothing brands,” the Daily Mail reports. The turmoil in question
centres on claims that sportswear chains including JJB
Sports and Sports Direct have
colluded with suppliers to exclude other retailers from the
sector.

The administrator for insolvent German conglomerate
Arcandor told Reuters that its Primondo
mail order division is likely to be sold in October, though the
name of the prospective buyer wasn’t given.
