Fiscal 2007 was a very good year for Net-a-Porter:
Sales at the luxury-goods etailer jumped 48 per cent, reports
Drapers, to £55./2 million for the
year ended 2nd February. Pretax profits climbed 42 per cent, to
£3.0 million.

Marks & Spencer has introduced a consumer electronics
catalogue, reports Absolute Gadget. According to the catalogue
copy, the offering, available online and in 28 stores, is a
“specially selected shortlist of picture perfect visual
and crystal clear audio products from the best brands on the
high street”.

According to The Guardian, Woolworths’ Big Red
Book and its home shopping unit overall are “under
review”. The article also speculates that Woolies will
stop selling electricals to focus on homewares, children’s
apparel and toys.
