Things will get worse before they get better: That’s the
outlook from Screwfix and B&Q parent company
Kingfisher, reports The Press Association. The retailing group
posted its third successive drop in annual profits today.

A “cautious” Laura Ashley has reported a
62 per cent rise in profits. Reuters reports that the furnishings and
womenswear retailer/cataloguer remains tentative about trading
conditions for the year ahead.
