Could the next stop on N Brown’s road to global
expansion be the US? Crain’s Manchester Business thinks so-even
though CEO Alan White doesn’t come out and say as much in an
interview with the paper.

“Asda has overtaken its rival Sainsbury’s
for the first time to become the UK’s second biggest online
grocer,” reports The Independent, which also notes that both
are still far outpaced online by Tesco.

A hacker who admitted stealing equipment worth £20,000
from online retailer Ebuyer has been sentenced to 12
months custody, suspended for a year. He must also attend an
employment, training and education course, reports the BBC.
