“Wicked”: That’s how one prominent politician
described a credit card for use at Argos that charges an
APR of up to 222.7 per cent, reports The Telegraph.

Third-quarter direct marketing sales at 4imprint Group
rose 30 per cent, to £25.6 million for the three months ended
27th September. For the first nine months of 2008, direct sales
were £68.6 million, up 24 per cent from the comparable period
of last year. Total sales for the company, which manufactures and
distributes promotional products, were £120.5 million for
the nine months ended 27th September, up 15 per cent from the
first nine months of 2007.
