Argos turns 35 this week and releases its 70th
catalogue: 1,800 pages packed with more than 18,000 products.
As PC Retailing notes, the catalogue has come
a long way since its inaugural, 250-page issue.

Three former Google employees have launched a search engine
of their own: Cuil.com (pronounced “cool”). According
to The Independent, it lists 120 billion web
pages.

The Telegraph talks with Liz Earle, founder
of Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare, which the paper
says is “Britain’s biggest independent beauty
brand”.

Redcats USA, which like the UK division of Redcats is
owned by PPR, has sold its “missy” apparel
catalogues to Monomoy Capital Partners. The titles include
Chadwick’s and Metrostyle. It retains its
plus-size apparel, home goods and sporting goods brands.
