Fashion etailer ASOS posted record profit and sales.
For the year ended 31st March, ASOS reported profit before tax of
£14.1 million on sales of £165.4 million. That’s an
increase of 93 per cent in profit and 104 per cent in sales from
the previous year. International sales rose 303 per cent, to
£32.2 million, and now accounts for 19 per cent of total
revenue.

The sale of a stake in Royal Mail will be delayed, Lord
Mandelson admits. According to The Times, only one bidder has emerged so
far, CVC Capital Partners, with a bid of less than £2
billion.
