“Royal Mail faces a fresh wave of industrial
action, only months after the end of one of the biggest strikes
to hit the postal service in years,” reports The Times. Apparently the unions are
unhappy with Royal Mail’s plan to revise its pensions
scheme.
“Marks & Spencer could bid for Next, its
high-street rival, to create a midmarket UK retail powerhouse,
according to one of London’s leading retail analysts,”
writes The Telegraph.

plans for the lingerie merchant, now she’s speaking with
The Guardian. Among her goals:
“She wants to get the brand name in the fashion glossies
and has plans for a catalogue that may be paid for and double
