Amazon is opening a new global digital media
development centre in London to house the design and development
teams of Amazon companies Pushbutton and
Lovefilm. The eight-floor, 47,000 sq.ft centre,
based near London’s “Silicon Roundabout” area, will focus on
producing the “next generation of TV and film services”, Amazon
said in a statement.

Paint and wallpaper brand Farrow & Ball has
relaunched its business-to-business website using the Netalogue
eCommerce management system. Farrow & Ball currently supplies
some 800 retailers around the world. Its stockists will now be
able to login and view customised order pads, shipping costs and
real-time foreign exchange prices.

US-based lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret has
opened its first UK store, in London’s Westfield Stratford. A
second store is due to open on 6th August on New Bond Street,
London.
