Venda founder Dan Wagner has stepped down as an executive the
business to establish a new e-commerce platform. The platform is
called Powa, and according to the Telegraph has already agreed referral
partnership deals with eBay and payments provider PayPal and will
use Chase Paymentech for payment processing.
Bloomberg reveals that several private equity
firms, including Colony Capital and Goldman Sachs, are interested
in bidding for French conglomerate’s Conforama
retail business.

on its website offered customers £75 off their grocery
