Upscale shoe retailer Kurt Geiger was acquired from Barclays Private equity in a £95 million management buyout, reports The Telegraph.’s Nick Robertson has ambitions to become the Amazon of fashion. He tells The Observer, “Every month 51 per cent of 16-to-24 year-old girls buy clothes online. Get over the f***ing trying-on thing.”

And the number-one business brand in the UK is… Google. That’s according to Superbrands’ survey of 1,500 business leaders.
