For the 17 weeks ended 28th June, multibrand cataloguer N Brown reported a 12.3 per cent rise in year-on-year sales. Titles launched or acquired last year–Jacamo, Marisota, Nightingales and Simply Yours–accounted for 4 percent of the sales growth, while the web accounted for 31 per cent of total sales.

Lulu Sapphire, a cataloguer of travel accessories for expectant and new parents and their offspring, was deemed “almost impossible to resist” in The Telegraph’s “Good buy guide” column.

Retailer/cataloguer Lush, which sells “fresh ethical cosmetics”, was number 50 on the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work
For list. Another retailer/cataloguer, Mothercare, ranked 18 on the accompanying list of the Best 20 Big Companies.
