Catering equipment supplier Nisbets has launched
into the USA. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Nisbets now offers
next-day deliveries on the east coast of America. In addition to
the UK, the company also operates in France, Spain, Portugal,
Ireland, Holland, Germany, Belgium, and Australia.
Online marketplace Notonthehighstreet.com is
supporting its future growth using cloud-based technology. It has
selected Rackspace Hosting to provide fully redundant network
devices, SAN storage and clustered application and file servers.
Notonthehighstreet is now considering a hybrid cloud model that
will see the retailer’s existing systems bolstered by the ability
to expand availability and bandwidth instantly to respond to
spikes in site traffic.
From today online retailer SockShop.co.uk will
start stocking a new sock range as part of a collaboration
between Sir Steve Redgrave’s clothing range FiveGold
(FiveG) and the Aid by Trade Foundation’s Cotton made in
Africa (CmiA) initiative. The socks are made from sustainable
African cotton and manufactured in the UK. Sir Steve Redgrave and
SockShop owner the Ruia Group are equal partners in FiveG.
