Own label beauty ranges launched by boohoo and Next

boohoo has launched an own brand range of beauty products comprising fifty cosmetic items. The pricing is in line with boohoo’s value positioning at from £3 to £25, with all products in recyclable packaging.

“The standout product for me has to be the Liquid Blush. I am obsessed. I use a few small dots along the higher points of my cheeks and blend with the fingertips, it’s such a natural way to add a glow,” commented Lou Maddison, lead hair & makeup stylist, boohoo.

Also favouring a move into own brand in this highly profitable growth segment is Next. It has worked with a UK-based manufacturer to produce its own skincare range called Woah. The range of 16 products is vegan and will be offered online. Pricing ranges from £8 for single items up to £150 for skincare kits.  Next says the formulations work on most skin types, are scientifically proven to be effective and have been independently tested by 60 women.
