Shop Direct which operates Very and Littlewoods has promoted its retail & strategy director Gareth Jones to the position of deputy chief executive. Jones joined the business as brand director for Very in 2009. He will retain responsibility for eCommerce, customer insight, marketing, creative and trading across the group and oversee the launch of Very Exclusive, a new spin-off which launches early in 2015.
